Studying the Impact of Infant GI Disorders on Thai Parents


A multinational food and beverage company sought to analyze the prevalence of functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGIDs) in infants and toddlers, study the efficacy of FGID treatments and observe effects on quality of life (QoL) of parents/caretakers.


Parents of 1000 healthy infants and toddlers living in Thailand were enrolled via digital recruitment, e-consent and screening. Participants completed questionnaires to assess the prevalence and management of FGIDs, impact on QoL, and efficacy of treatments.
